Gaza is, and has been for the past 50 years, a microcosmic "clash of civilizations" or some sick, barometric experiment for the way the world ends.

The two factions are hyper-zealous extremists mutually funded by foreign powers with vested interest in the region; they are diametrically opposed brothers fated to hate one another.

Israel: the nation-state equivalent to Schwarzenegger in Predator (and by that I mean a pure-bred bad-ass on steroids that's comfortable for American audiences) vs. Hamas, the general will of a radicalized Muslim electorate. It's Huntington's wet-dream: west vs. east in a 140 sq mile arena.

The conflict is a western test-tube baby devouring his Siamese twin. Also, the ultrasound is on Pay-Per-View (but most of it are pirating it via Silliman's Blog).

GOOD GOOD GOOD

Hamas is like Weslie in Wanted.
Israel's rockets are like Morgan Freeman, i. e. SLOAN, SLOAN.
Or rather, they are like Angelina Jolie's tattoos.
